Recently a friend shared a link to the site of another friend's new store. A stationary store. I'm not sure if it's the old scrapbooker in me or what but I instantly got giddy. I likes my paper. Add good design and my eyes dilate a little. I have a thing for cards too. Oscar has received a few cards that I ask to have back after he's read so that I can frame it. Romantic, I know. I love to do this for holidays too because it's a two birds kind of deal and hello instant art that didn't cost me an arm and leg.
I'm lucky enough to not only share this great etsy shop but to giveaway these three V-day cards so you can pass on the love. How is that for paying it forward? You can thank me later. But for now, here's more about this awesome shop from the keyboard of its fantastic artist, Heather:
"My name is Heather Crujeiras and I am the woman behind the pencil of One Sharpened Pencil. My company, OSP, is adding an element of style, satire, and wit to traditional greeting cards, stationary, and paper products.
OSP greeting cards are hand drawn starting with one sharpened pencil. I then use pen and ink, watercolor, or other mediums to define the design. After all the elements are created, I use the computer to manipulate the design's color and size.
OSP has also taken the time to handpick the most eco-friendly materials so you as the customer can feel good about your purchase. OSP greeting cards are printed on 100% recycled and sustainable cardstock and shipped in sturdy recycled cardboard mailers to prevent bending. OSP purchases from companies that believe in post-consumer waste, are FSC® certified and 100% hydroelectricity processed."
Obviously for nursey reasons, that one's my favorite. So enough chit chat. One lucky winner will be picked Monday night so that these cute cards can make it to you soon enough! And if you have an account on Etsy please feel free to "heart" her shop so you can see future cards!
